Property code: OC-N32549

Norfolk is renowned for its big skies, beautiful coast, the Norfolk Broads, the medieval cathedral city of Norwich, and many stately homes and churches. Guests are welcome to walk through the woods of Northrepps Estate or venture further afield to the Norfolk Coast Path and The Paston Way. For golfing enthusiasts, Royal Cromer Golf Club is 1 mile away. If it’s culture you’re after, the medieval city of Norwich and its magnificent cathedral, one of the largest in Europe, has many museums, independent shops, pubs and eateries. The county’s great halls, Blickling Hall (10 miles), Felbrigg Hall (4 miles), and Holkham Hall (26 miles) are open to the public. The oldest footsteps in Europe were discovered on the coast in 2013 at Happisburgh, and the West Runton Woolly Mammoth, found in 1990, is the largest complete skeleton known.

This lovingly restored 18th-century former country house has everything you would need from a property. The porch leads into the hallway, where there’s an office room and a wet room where you can dry your dogs and hang your wetsuits. The large dining room is a perfect place to have a meal in a more formal setting; the table seats up to sixteen guests. The large kitchen/breakfast room has an additional table for eight and a breakfast bar seating two. Everything you’ll need is here, and there’s a utility room housing a washing machine and tumble dryer. Move through to the sitting room, which has a wall-mounted Smart TV along with three sofas and armchairs providing enough seating for all guests. There is a full bar area that, although closed off, is available for guests at extra cost. There are double doors leading through to a games room consisting of a pool table, a table tennis table and a pinball machine. Off this room is a large function room complete with a dance floor and commercial kitchen that can be hired at extra cost if you are hosting a large party or function. Completing the layout on the ground floor are two bedrooms with their own unique decor and garden views – an en-suite twin with a TV and an en-suite double room with a TV. Upstairs, there are a further five bedrooms boasting views of the grounds. The first bedroom is the en-suite bridal suite with a king-size bed, a TV, and a dressing room. There are three en-suite double bedrooms with TVs, and finally, another en-suite double bedroom with a TV and a free-standing bath in the room. Each bed has the luxurious touch of Egyptian cotton sheets and goose down duvets.

Heading outside, the beautiful grounds, landscaped by Humphrey Repton, are perfect for relaxing in, and guests can roam the many acres on the estate. Explore the hills and woodland which lead to the local village, the golf course and the beach beyond. When you return, ease into the ten-person hot tub, which has been purposefully raised on the hill behind the property to provide guests with the most amazing views of the woods and coast. There is off-road parking for multiple cars.
