Book a memorable family holiday at this detached home in the heart of Brancaster, a popular coastal village on the Norfolk Coast Path. Whether you’re into scenic walks, paddleboarding, picnicking, golf, birdwatching or all of the above, Brancaster is a wonderful base for discovering the wider North Norfolk zone. You’ll be within the Norfolk Coast National Landscape and nestled between two nature reserves at Scolt Head Island (2.5 miles) and Holme Dunes (6.5 miles), guaranteeing fantastic scenery for a restorative getaway.

On arrival, you’ll be greeted by a classic brick-and-flint exterior with climbers growing up the walls. The inside is just as attractive, with its dark ceiling beams, white walls and soothing colour scheme. Relax as a group in the sunny south-facing lounge, sinking into the welcoming sofas and perhaps switching on the Smart TV for some easy entertainment. The galley kitchen overlooks the large rear garden. A convenient utility room and a wet room complete the downstairs, while upstairs are the four bedrooms: a king-size with en-suite bathroom, a king-size with en-suite WC, a bunk bedroom and a single. Outside, the garden is mainly laid to lawn with shrubs and trees. This provides a wonderful space for children to let off steam. There’s also a paved area with a large table and chairs so you can dine alfresco in good weather.

You’ll find shops and pubs within 1 mile and plenty to do nearby, such as exploring the magnificent Brancaster Estate (1 mile) with its beach, harbour and Roman fort. Barnham Market (4.5 miles) has galleries, boutique shops and restaurants to discover. Here for those fragrant purple flowers? The world-renowned Norfolk Lavender Farm (10.5 miles) makes a delightful afternoon out, with over 50 varieties and a shop filled with lavender-related goodies. Sandringham Royal Estate (12.5 miles) is also well worth the trip, with its magnificent gardens.

Excellent location for our favourite part of Norfolk and nature reserves. Quirky, mazelike until figure everything out but spacious comfortable bedrooms. Dining room, utility & kitchen very well equipped though a narrow galley kitchen. Bonus of large garden with regular visits from muntjac deer. Stunning.

Great location for a Norfolk escape. Gorgeous big garden, great utility room, lots of parking space and minutes from a beautiful new board walk to Brancaster Staithe and well stocked village shop. It does have a 'slightly cluttered family home' feel rather than bespoke rental and a few quirks e.g. two bathrooms but one is only accessible through a Read morebedroom. Nice welcome pack and lots of cleaning products were welcome additions! Hide
