Heading south-east along this stretch of coast are the peaceful coastal resorts Sea Palling, Waxham and Horsey Gap, all within 6 miles. Heading back north-west, Mundesley (11.5 miles) has a wonderful beach and a fascinating maritime museum. Inland, Hickling Broad is the nearest of the famous Norfolk Broads (7 miles).
