Escape to this spacious brick and flint cottage, within 1 mile of the centre of Holt – an attractive market town on the edge of the Norfolk Coast National Landscape. Ideal for couples or small families, this light and airy cottage features a relaxing lounge, a stylish kitchen/diner, and an enclosed garden with a feature patio area. The ideal base for exploring stunning shorelines and countryside, the cottage enjoys easy access to Holt Country Park and Sheringham Park.

The deceptively large two-storey cottage is set within a row of similarly styled cottages that overlook a quiet road leading into the centre of Holt. The cottage’s interior is fresh and full of natural light which falls onto practically arranged rooms, home to contemporary soft furnishings. The large lounge at the front of the cottage has comfortable seating arranged around a wood burner and is only a few steps from an attractive kitchen/diner that leads towards the rear garden. There are two bedrooms upstairs: a cosy double with an ornamental fireplace and a twin bedroom with plenty of storage space. A shower room stands across the landing. The enclosed rear garden has a feature patio with seating and is dissected by a long path leading to a storage shed at the far end.

The centre of Holt (within 1 mile) offers an impressive array of family-friendly shops, pubs and eateries in and around its thriving market square. Nearby Holt Country Park offers 100 acres of woodland and, just like the Norfolk Coast Path (4 miles), is a haven for walkers and nature lovers. The Norfolk Coast National Landscape is bursting with nature reserves such as Blakeney (7.5 miles), along with coastal towns including Wells-next-the-Sea and Sheringham, the home of Sheringham Park (within 11.5 miles).

The cottage is in a great position for walking into Holt and a good base for enjoying the Norfolk Coast. The cottage has parking which is a must in such a busy town and a little garden which we would have enjoyed if the weather had been kinder.

This is a nice property close to the centre of Holt in a quiet setting. Well equipped the house is generally in good order. A new frying pan needed as the existing one doesn't work on the induction hob. Also the second bedroom is VERY cosy. The single beds cannot be pulled apart and it could be awkward for friends to be sharing - ouples or kids onlRead morey. Hide

Lovely, comfortable cottage in a safe, residential area only ten minutes walk from the interesting town of Holt. We did the Owl trail through Holt town on our first day which was great! We discovered the history of the town, the architecture, great places to eat & drink as well as some beautiful boutiques & art galleries. We used trains & buses durRead moreing our stay which were very easy & convenient. The Holt steam railway is also only a 15 min walk from the cottage which runs into Sherringham. Hide

Cottage in good location for exploring the Norfolk coast, but feels it does require some improvements ie. decoration, Large oven not working, TV kept loosing signal, Garden requires attention not very inviting to sit outside. . Nice welcome pack thank you.
