Located in the bustling heart of Cromer, this compact maisonette provides a cosy and convenient base for exploring the region. Bursting with character and charm, this cosy abode has sea views and is perfectly placed whether you want to wander along the prom and pier or browse the surrounding shops and eateries. Welcoming up to four guests, it makes a delightful romantic retreat or a memorable base for a family getaway.

Enter this inviting maisonette via the main road and follow the steel staircase up to the entrance. Inside, you’ll find a compact and cosy interior that’s been thoughtfully renovated to make the most of the space, and tastefully adorned with maritime artworks and knick-knacks. Relax and unwind in the lovely lounge, which boasts views over the neighbouring church and out to sea, and whip up tasty suppers in the bright and fresh kitchen, which includes a dining table seating four. When it’s time to rest your head, take your pick from a mezzanine-style double bedroom off the lounge which has use of the family bathroom, or a master double bedroom off the kitchen complete with an en-suite shower room.

While there’s no outdoor space with this flat, it’s just a short walk to the beach where you can soak up the sun, wander along the promenade and munch fish and chips on the pier. There’s plenty of culture here too, from local museums to a working lifeboat station and a thriving theatre on the pier. Shops and eateries are in abundance – don’t forget to try the famous Cromer crab! The Norfolk Coast Path stretches in both directions from the town, with a lovely walk to the neighbouring seaside resort of Sheringham (4.5 miles). Here you can pick up the heritage steam train to the Georgian town of Holt or stroll through Sheringham Park.

Lovely presented apartment, well equipped and an extremely nice welcome pack. Good central location. The stairs are a huge issue however, maybe a warning in your description of the property.

Centrally located clean flat. Lovely welcome touches, well stocked flat, use of washer/dryer a welcome addition. 2 double beds, comfortably housed a family of 4 (primary school age) for a week. But negated by the low ceilings and step in the bathroom (many a banged head and stubbed toe) By worse is the limited parking but we used the long stay and Read moreCromer by foot is all accessible The many stairs to the property means those who are physically impaired, unfit, or have a buggy will have a hard time Hide

Delightful, perfect location, had everything we needed and would definitely return. Recommended, and you get used to the steps to the front door. We had a great holiday, and the flat was a big part of that.

Well worth the 60 stairs up to the flat. Right in the middle of Cromer, a few minutes from the seafront. Would suggest letting the smallest person use the bed on the mezzanine as I bumped my head a few times, I should have ducked. A nice welcome package on the table, tea, coffee sachets etc. A bottle of apple juice, which was lovely. Lovely quirky property, fully equipped, soft bath towels, central to all facilities, beach, shops and close to local buses. Lots to do and explore. Pier show and steam trains at Sheringham recommended. Nearby car parks get full quickly but we managed to find a space on Cliff Avenue a nearby residential road and used buses when travelling to other aRead morereas. There are a lot of steps to negotiate which doesn't make it easy for carrying luggage up/down and some ceilings are low. Had a fab week holiday. Hide

The cottage was in a great location with access to everything within walking distance. Very well equipped. Access was a little difficult particularly when arriving and departing with luggage. While the listing does mention steps, it doesn't clearly articulate how many, there were 60 in total. Also the low ceilings would be worth mentioning. OverallRead more a really nice place Hide
