Situated close to the heart of the friendly village of Little Walsingham, this stunning retreat offers fabulous accommodation for up to 12 guests enjoying a relaxing break together. Perfect for exploring both coast and countryside, the property is just around the corner from the Shrine of Our Lady of Walsingham (350 metres). Walsingham is also home to a range of cheerful shops, pubs and restaurants, and the remains of Walsingham Abbey with its extensive grounds and gardens (250 metres). This idyllic part of Norfolk has plenty of other landmarks and attractions, including Hindringham Hall Gardens, the ruins of Creake Abbey, Binham Priory and Pensthorpe Nature Reserve, all within 8 miles. Heading north, the beautiful Norfolk coast has an array of friendly coastal villages, harbour towns and seaside resorts such as Wells Next the Sea, Blakeney Point – home to England’s largest seal colony – and Brancaster, all within 15 miles.

Entering the main cottage, the welcoming hallway leads through to a large lounge and dining area with timber ceiling beams, comfortable seating, stylish furnishings, tasteful decor and 2 warming wood burners, offering an ideal space to sit back and unwind after a great day. The stylishly arranged kitchen has plenty of equipment and access to a second conservatory-style dining area looking out onto the courtyard. The ground floor also features a refreshing shower room. There are five spacious and relaxing bedrooms in the main cottage: one en-suite bedroom is on the ground floor, with the remaining four rooms – two with en-suite facilities – upstairs. The first floor also features a lovely bathroom. In addition to the main building, there’s a charming second cottage for 2 guests with an enticing open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner of its own, with a high, vaulted ceiling, timber beams and wooden flooring, alongside a light and cosy bedroom with an en-suite shower room.

Outside, a Mediterranean-style courtyard sits between the main cottage and Stable Cottage, with a fantastic central dining table and ceramic Kamado charcoal BBQ providing a great spot for celebrating with some al fresco dining. There’s also a fire pit with seating and a large lawn garden with plenty of space for younger guests to run around. There is an electric vehicle charger on site, payable through an app using the QR code, and private parking is available for three cars.
