This welcoming bungalow situated on the village green, in the quiet and charming village of Briston is just 9 miles from the North Norfolk coast, is an ideal destination for couples, friends or small families looking for a relaxing and rejuvenating stay. Just 0.5 miles away you’ll find a pub that’s renowned for its fresh, seasonal food. Along with a family owned butchers/convenient store with locally sourced meats and produce. For added ease there is also a Co-op and post office all a 5 minute walk away. In the next-door village of Melton Constable, 1.5 miles, there are several takeaways to try. In 4 miles you can reach the Georgian village of Holt, home to art galleries, book stores, antiques shops and more, with a large variety of places to eat and drink. If a beach day takes your fancy, choose from Brancaster, Holkham, Wells-next-the-Sea, Sheringham, Cromer and Mundesley, all within easy reach. Alternatively, explore the National Trust’s Felbrigg Hall, 12.5 miles, or Blickling Estate, 8.5 miles, or hop on the Bure Valley Railway at the market town of Aylsham, 10 miles, for a steam along to Wroxham, known as the capital of the Broads, where you can also hire a boat for the day or rent kayaks and paddle boards.
