A fantastic base for exploring the Broads, and with plenty of room for up to four guests, the property lies just a mile from the tranquil village of Swafield and is surrounded by beautiful fields offering glorious, serene walks. The beautiful and secluded beaches at Mundesley, Trimingham and Bacton are all within 4 miles, or you could head to the bustling seaside resort of Cromer (11 miles). The disused railway track (now a nature reserve), Pigneys Wood, the Dilham canal and Paston Way are less than half a mile away by foot and offer a variety of beautiful walks. Heading south, the Norfolk Broads offer miles of tranquil waterways to explore – Wroxham, known as the Capital of the Broads, is just 13 miles away. The market town of North Walsham is nearby (2.5 miles), with other local attractions including Blickling Hall, Gunton Park Sawmill, Wroxham Barns and Felbrigg Hall, Gardens and Estate, all within 12 miles.

Entering this welcoming property, head through to the cheerful lounge area which features a Smart TV, high ceilings, large chandelier, a handsome feature fireplace and comfortable seating, making an ideal space to settle back and relax after a fabulous day out. Exploring further, the beautifully arranged kitchen has plenty of equipment for preparing your favourite meals, and there’s a lovely dining area perfect for romantic meals and family feasts. Next to the living area is the first of the property’s two delightful bedrooms, a bright and airy king-size room with a charming, restored fireplace, alongside an invigorating en-suite shower room. Heading upstairs, you will find the second bedroom, a light and stylish twin with a high-sloping ceiling, exposed beams and a chandelier. This room also boasts a refreshing en-suite shower room.

A really fabulous place to stay with a stunning interior plus everything you could want. The grounds are very beautiful our dog loved it there playing with the owners dogs. Great location for easy access to the coast. A great place to stay highly recommend it.

We had an amazing time at the cottage which had recently been rebuilt to replace the original one. Our hosts Tim & Boris were very helpful. Our dogs got on well with their two dogs and we had access to their beautiful garden. Lovely beaches nearby in Mundesley and you are not far from Cromer. Looking forward to a return visit.
