Its neighbouring town, Hunstanton (3 miles), is a little livelier, with a SeaLife centre, a large Victorian promenade and a pier that stretches gently over the sandy beach. In the opposite direction, the fabulous Snettisham Beach (5 miles) is a great one to walk to, keeping a keen eye out for marvellous bird life in this RSPB reserve area.
