If you’re looking for a peaceful escape with spectacular watery views, this lovely mid-terrace cottage is your answer. Ideal for a couple’s retreat or a family holiday, it’s in the perfect location for boating, days on the beach and family attractions.

The two-storey brick house is accessed via a step up to the front door and, once inside, you’ll discover its charming, nautical-style interior. The bright living room, which boasts sliding glass doors to the front patio, boasts a Smart TV for streaming must-see movies, and flows through to the dining space, where you can gather around the table for delicious meals and long, sociable evenings. In the kitchen, you can pause with a mug of coffee at the breakfast bar for two, and the cook will find everything on hand to help with preparing holiday feasts. On the first floor, there are two bedrooms, a king-size and a twin, both with ample storage. The larger room is at the front and enjoys a glorious view over the River Yare and its passing boats. Completing this floor is a family bathroom. This property is in a fantastic location, right on the Riverside. The living room looks out on the river and it was delightful to sit in the window watching the boats and the world go by.(Even in the rain!). A fish and chip shop and general stores are 5 minutes walk away, so all very convenient. Within 30 minutes drive of Reedham there are some amazing walks which we and our dog loved. What an amazing location! We are a retired couple with a dog. The cottage overlooks the river and is close to the swing bridge, two pubs, a little convenience store and fish and chip shop. We live in a village at home so not noisy. This place was so peaceful. Abundant birdsong, and will my Merlin Bird app we identified the reed warbler. On our one-Read moreway river walk from Cantley to base (we took the train one way) we saw and identified reed warbler, reed bunting, sedge warbler. We are planning to return to Cygnet soon at a different time of year. Hide

Very comfortable and had all we needed in a holiday home. Heating worked very well, our stay was at the end of March and the weather was still a bit chilly, but luckily no rain, and it was always nice and warm indoors . Theres also and electric log burner effect fire in the lounge if needed for extra warmth. The view from patio doors in the lounge Read morewas stunning. There is an uninterrupted view of the river Yare. no cars parked to spoil the view,It was so relaxing just watching the boats going by while having a coffee or even a glass of wine either on the patio, weather permitting, or in the lounge.
