Explore the charming shopping streets of Holt and spend time on the Norfolk coast and countryside when you stay at this enticing brick and flint cottage. Situated at the heart of the delightful Georgian town, the two-bedroom property sleeps four guests and is 4.5 miles from the beach at Weybourne and the same distance from Salthouse.

Step into the semi-detached cottage from the street to find accommodation with a friendly, welcoming appeal. While away your evenings together in the comfortable lounge, with its elegant feature fireplace. Find your favourite programme on TV, open your holiday novel or discuss the adventures of the day and what you might get up to tomorrow. The lounge is adjacent to the kitchen/diner, which has a country style and offers everything you will require to help you cater for your party on those occasions you choose to dine in. Whip up delicious meals with the abundance of local produce you will find in and around Holt and then pull a chair out at the table. There is also a handy utility room downstairs. When you are ready to retire for the night, make your way up to the first floor of the cottage to lay your head in either the double bedroom, which has an en-suite bathroom, or the twin, with an en-suite shower room. Make tea or coffee when you awake and carry your cup out into the courtyard on summer mornings. Open a bottle of wine out here too on warm evenings.

Board a heritage steam train from Holt to Cromer along the North Norfolk Railway, which is fondly known as the Poppy Line, to take in the country and coastal views. Have a day on the vast, open beach at Wells-next-the-Sea, 13 miles away and with its row of colourful beach huts.

Cottage itself is lovely and in the perfect location... the sofas could do with modernising. Overall a lovely cottage but it wasn't cleaned before arrival which put a 'stain' on our stay
