Bathed in natural light, this space has a cosy seating area warmed by a wood burner and a sleek, modern kitchen with high-quality appliances. The two first-floor bedrooms – one double and one twin – are sanctuaries of calm and comfort with wooden panelling, plush bedding and Smart TVs. They share use of the family bathroom, while a cosy reading nook adds to the property’s charm. Outside, an enclosed patio offers a private space to unwind and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere.

The pretty Georgian town of Holt makes a superb base, with independent shops, galleries, and antiques shops. It’s a haven for foodies, too, with a popular deli and an assortment of pubs, cafes and restaurants all within easy walking distance. Hop on the Poppy Line steam train to the coastal town of Sheringham (7 miles) for beach walks and delicious fish and chips, or venture to Cromer (10.5 miles) to try their famous Cromer crab. The area is a delight for walkers and nature lovers with Holt Country Park on your doorstep and reserves at Blakeney and Cley-next-the-Sea where you can see rare birds and grey seals (within 5 miles).

An exceptional cottage in a superb location. The location was quiet but youre right in the middle of Holt. Its a 30 second stroll to the town and less than a 2 minute walk to cafes and shops. Brilliant!
