Teeming with traditional charm and cosy cottage elements, this appealing abode invites two guests to steal away on a romantic break to the edge of the Norfolk Broads. Located on the edge of The Broad’s vast waterway system, you’re well-positioned for endless riverside walks, boating excursions and other thrilling water sports when staying here. At home, you can also benefit from the private on-site swimming pool that’s available to hire through discussions with the owner, ideal for those eager to take an invigorating dip at the start of their day.

Filled to the brim with home comforts, you’re sure to feel instantly at ease when stepping into this splendid, single-storey pad. A compact yet fully equipped kitchen invites eager chefs to whip up something tasty, while the lounge/diner is just down the hallway with space to sit and dine together. After dinner, retire to the cushy sofa and switch on the Smart TV. A delightful double bedroom is located a few steps away at bedtime, accompanied by a refreshing shower room with a walk-in shower. French doors lead out from the living area into a private garden with a patio and grassy space, furnished to allow you to comfortably enjoy a morning coffee or evening drink as the sun sets.

Lace up your walking boots to adventure through the varied landscapes of the Bure Valley, spotting exciting wildlife and traipsing along pretty waterways as you follow the waymarked Barton Broad Boardwalk route (1.5 miles). For a different way to admire the valley, visit nearby Hoveton (3 miles) and climb aboard a narrow-gauge train at Wroxham Station, letting the train chortle through the countryside to show you 18 miles of pretty scenery and bright greenery. This train visits Aylsham (11.5 miles), an unspoilt market town on the River Bure that’s appealing for foodies with popular eateries and ample local produce.

An Excellent location, access to indoor swimming was easy, the pool looked very nice. Every part of the Cottage was cosy. In 10 minutes you can be in Wroxham or Stalham with food shops, takeaways and restaurants a plenty with the nearest beach about 5 miles. Parking the car was absolutely o/s the front door and off road. Cycles would be able to be Read morewheeled in the entrance hall over night subject to owners permission and walkers will find many FP routes straight from the door. The nice pub restaurant is a short walk from the cottage. Hide

A comfortable and relaxing property in a very good location. We would definitely consider returning to this property, despite the bed which creaks when moving about.
