Rosehill House is a beautiful cottage. There was 4 of us and a dog and the cottage was very spacious. The kitchen was well equipped and the separate dining room was lovely. Just returned from a lovely stay at Rosehill House, our 1st family holiday since having our baby boy. Spacious yet cosy/homely, lovely log fire, a super comfy sofa to relax on, good sized bedrooms with comfortable beds & nice hot powerful shower accompanied by super soft fluffy towels. Upon arrival, we encountered a lovely welcome pack settRead moreing you up with some staples like milk & juice along with some yummy Norfolk goodies. House came equipped with salt & pepper, hand wash, washing up liquid, tea, instant coffee, sugar, ice in the freezer, dish washer tablets, toilet rolls, logs/kindling/matches for the fire. A great location for sightseeing in Norfolk with easy access in every direction to the highlights of the North Norfolk Coast. Lovely location in the heart of the village, with a very short walk to the well stocked spa shop & a longer walk to the village hall, the pub or a slightly longer walk to the chip shop if it takes your fancy. A nice local recommended Bordoli Pizza, a wood fired pizza van that visits the village hall every Monday between 5pm & 8pm. Definitely worth a visit if youre around on a Monday evening. Doggy friendly? Mostly, and I say this because this property has some rules, which I like to highlight as properties vary so vastly when it comes dog rules. Firstly the enclosed garden - 100% Doggy Friendly! Truly enclosed, with a wonderful wrap around garden. To hit this point home we have a small chihuahua so when properties say enclosed weve encountered our fair share of problems but truly this is! Our boy absolutely loved the space to roam around, chase the pidgeons, play fetch and bask in the sunshine. An extra special treat are the views over the fields at the back of the house. If youre lucky you may get to enjoy the wildlife e.g. muntjack, pheasants, oyster catchers etc. No dogs on the furniture. No dogs upstairs - Nothing provided to prevent this. We could see from the guest book, guests have been resorting to using the fire guard to block the stairs so have made a recommendation to the owner on this. No dogs left alone at the property. During our stay we encountered a small niggle which was dealt with and we observed a couple of maintenance items which have been reported so should be addressed. Overall we had a nice stay & would return. Hide
