Lovely property, very clean, warm, comfy and good location to visit local sights. Would definitely recommend staying. Added bonus with the local hotel in which you can get spa treatments.

We have a great Christmas Holiday at Tawny Cottage. The house is lovely and the AGA was great to cook on. was a little dubious about using it but we had no issues and i managed to cook Christmas dinner on it with no problems. The house was lovely and warm at all times. sometimes too warm but my husband does love a log burner. Really enjoyed our stay in Tawny Cottage. It is a quirky and characterful cottage, and the log fire ensured we stayed warm and cosy during our winter break. We spent a lovely week at 16 North Road. Langham is a beautiful village and the surrounding countryside is beautiful. The cottage itself is beautiful, warm and welcoming a real home from home feel. The bed is so comfortable , you also have the benefit of a toilet on this floor so you don't have to manage the stairs in the middle of the night, which are on the steep side but you do get used to them . A very special cottage, you open an unassuming door into a very beautiful place. Loved all the original features and modern soft furnishings were beautiful. The long garden was perfect for relaxing in and the bed super comfy. What more can I say - would love to stay again.

Langham is an ideal location for visiting North Norfolk and Tawny Cottage is in the centre of the village with the wonderful Blue Bell pub round the corner. It's a very cosy cottage, it was clean and has really lovely soft furnishings. The shower is good with great water pressure and the kitchen is quite well equipped. Very comfy beds. Free parkingRead more is always available in the road. Wonderful the owners of this cottage allow two dogs. We found it such a pity how the garden looked so unloved. Weeds instead of flowers and the summer house was covered in cobwebs with very dirty windows. The terrace paving also needs a good clean. This let the property down because the cottage itself was great and evenings in Langham are so peaceful. Tips for future visitors: bring milk and sugar with you because the generous welcome pack includes Prosecco, local apple juice, Norfolk tea, coffee and biscuits but no milk or sugar. We arrived after the shops in the area had closed. Also, we found most pubs finish serving food at around 8pm which is much earlier than we were used to. There are some great pubs though!! Another tip is the road - it's a mini motorway weekdays between around 6am and 11am with vehicles driving very fast, so be careful in the morning when crossing from behind your car when visibility of traffic from the other direction is poor. Overall we had a lovely week. Thank you! Hide

This is a lovely cottage which has been thoughtfully renovated and is in superb condition throughout. The bed is extremely comfortable and there is a toilet on the landing area separate to the main bathroom which is downstairs which is also a shower room. The level of furnishings makes for a very comfortable stay. The garden is fully enclosed so noRead more worries about your dog escaping! Of note is the staircase which is steep with narrow steps as it turns into the living room. There are handy ropes to hang on to though! There is a pub within easy walking distance and the food is very good - however they only serve meals from Thursday to Sunday. Take basic provisions with you as the nearest shop is a few miles away. I suppose the best comment I can leave is that we would be very happy living here! Hide
