Stay in this lovely, private annexe, an open-plan studio ideal for a couple looking for a relaxing holiday with easy access to the Norfolk Broads, coast, and countryside. Buxton Heath (1 mile) is close by and makes a great spot for a local walk, while Bure Valley Railway (4 miles) makes for a great day out, offering an 18-mile round-trip by steam train into the heart of the Norfolk Broads.

This delightful contemporary studio offers a large, bright, and cosy space to enjoy a quiet and secluded stay. The well-designed interior seamlessly combines a sleeping area, a lounge area, and a spacious kitchen in one room. The sleeping area has a super-king-size bed, plenty of natural light and soothing decor for a restful sleep. The lounge is a snug spot to unwind, furnished with comfortable seating and a Smart TV: curl up with a good book or enjoy your favourite box set. The high ceilings allow for a fully equipped kitchen so you can prepare and indulge in a delightful late breakfast or a home-cooked evening meal at the dining table. Completing the features is an elegant shower room. Outside, relax together in a private and enclosed small patio area, ideal for enjoying morning coffee or late afternoon tea. To the front is a gravelled area with a table and chairs, and you are welcome to explore the owner's garden, which has patio seating.

If you are interested in local history, the Natural Trust properties at Blickling Hall (5.5 miles), which has a great shop, cafe, and walkways, and Felbrigg Hall (14 miles) are must-sees. For beaches and traditional seafood, visit Cromer, Overstrand or Sheringham, all within 20 miles, to experience the famous Cromer crab or some fish and chips and walk along the beautiful beaches. Wroxham (11 miles) is the gateway to the Norfolk Broads; hire a boat, take a guided boat tour, or explore some of the walkways in this unique natural, wetland environment.

Little Oldbury is a very nice place to stay and is ideally located to explore the North Norfolk area. The cottage is excellently furnished and has everything you need for a short stay. The welcome package was much appreciated.

From the finishing touches to the little extras provided for us and our dog, this was a perfect getaway. Private, beautifully decorated and just what we needed. The owners left a treat and blanket for our dog and some fabulous local produce in the cupboards and fridge. I definitely recommend LITTLE ARBURY and would definitely go again. Very peaceful, comfortable, clean and lots of room to spread out. It was lovely overlooking the field at the back, with a cup of tea, watching the wildlife go about its business.

Little Oldbury is a wonderful place to stay. It is extremely comfortable, beautifully and stylishly furnished and equipped with everything you could possibly need and more! The very generous welcome basket was full of delicious local delicacies. The owners are really welcoming and very kind. It is in such a peaceful location and we slept really wRead moreell on a very comfortable bed. It is ideally situated to explore the local area and the coast. We had a lovely day in Norwich including an interesting tour of the cathedral by a knowledgeable and charming guide, a great day on the Broads with a boat trip on Horsey Mere where we saw such a lot - a swallowtail butterfly and lots of birds. We went to Blickling and walked miles through the estate, toured the house and saw a wonderful play put on by local volunteers to celebrate D Day. We packed a lot into a few days. Little Oldbury is a delightful holiday base. It is very tastefully decorated and very well equipped - the bed is VERY comfortable! It was a good base for visiting a variety of places - we enjoyed being close to potential bird-watching venues. Ann, the owner was very welcoming (as were the "goodies" she provided") I didn't find any "on the doorstRead moreep" footpaths,( perhaps I should have asked) but Buxton Heath was a very short drive away. Lovely cosy retreat. Private area not overlooked. Hosts were warm and friendly and welcomed the use of their garden for our dog. Lovely uninterrupted views from the back of the property over grassy fields where you could see wildlife enjoying the tranquility.
