Stayed in the Tack House. Very nicely presented. Lovely views over the grounds where you see the deer and other animals on a very regular basis. The town of Diss is a 5 min walk away so car not needed for every outing. A peaceful place to stay.

This cottage is really lovely and great for short stays. We arrived Monday and stayed for 5 nights and it was perfect. The animals are a real delight. A couple of times, we had a menagerie of different animals queuing at the door for digestive biscuits. Often, when opening the curtains in the morning, we would be greeted by a peacocks face 3 inches from the window! It was also common to be followed by a lot of chickens when going to and from the car, all clucking. It is a real shame under 16s cannot stay as my 15-month-old granddaughter would be memorised. There are a lot of grounds to walk in, and Tesco is only a 5-minute walk away. All in all, a nice village with all the amenities you need and a lovely peaceful place to stay. Our host Stephen was also great in helping us settle in. Phil & Joy. Hide

We had an amazing, relaxing stay at the Tack House. The cottage is even better than the pictures made it look, everything is done to such a high standard whilst remaining cosy. Lovely, modern, and well-appointed accommodation with everything you could possibly need. It feels like you are in the middle of the countryside, although you are close to a town. We stayed in the tack house for a long weekend break. The location is lovely, you are in the stunning Suffolk countryside but only a few minutes walk from any amenities you could need. Arriving we were greeted by the owner who couldn't have been more welcoming. The accommodation is absolutely first class from the fantastically appointed kitchen Read moreto the ultra comfortable sofa's and the superb wood burner. The shower in the bathroom was amazing. The highlight though has to be the animals, they roam freely across the site and are so friendly. We fed several of the deer and sheep by hand. The chickens are hilarious. When you open your door in the morning expect to see them running towards you. You can sit on the sofa with the fire on just watching them through the picture window for hours. We can't wait to go back again. Hide

Excellent, just as described. The views and setting are perfect - it was just what we wanted for a relaxing week. Can't recommend highly enough - we will be returning. The owner kindly left us some biscuits to feed the animals which was lovely - feeding the white stag was amazing!
