A spectacular barn conversion in the stunning Georgian market town of Holt, this luxury property makes a wonderful base for a Norfolk trip among family or friends. You’ll be under 1 mile from Holt’s charming centre, offering shops, cafés, pubs, galleries and independent shops. And since the town is on the edge of the Norfolk Coast Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, the walking opportunities nearby are excellent. So, take the dogs and up to seven friends for a memorable stay at this beautifully presented home.

As you pass through your private courtyard and into the property, you’re sure to be impressed with its elegance and impressive refurbishment. The open-plan living area has a lofty vaulted ceiling propped up by beautiful wooden beams, and encompasses the living room, dining space and kitchen. Light streams in through the two sets of French doors, and a wood-burning stove is on hand to keep you warm. When you’re weary from busy days out, sink into the plush corner sofa and switch on the Smart TV for an easy evening in. A grand dining table, seating eight, is ready for communal meals prepared in the fully-equipped kitchen designed with chefs in mind. The outside area is a magical space, with a luxury hot tub, fire pit area, veranda and large patio with furniture for fresh-air dining.

When you’ve explored Holt town, you can head to the English Heritage site at Baconsthorpe Castle (4.5 miles) or take the dogs for a runaround in the lovely Holt Country Park (2 miles), which offers 100 acres of woodland for you to explore. Train lovers will make a beeline for Holt train station, where you can board a stream train for a journey through the pretty heathlands towards the sea at Weybourne (4 miles). Whether you alight here or continue along the coast to the Victorian seaside resort of Sheringham (6 miles), a satisfying day out is guaranteed!

One of the best properties we have ever stayed at. So well designed and the property is a dream to stay in and enjoy the surrounding areas of north Norfolk. The whole experience is well thought out by the owners who have provided a high quality property and have provided everything you will ever need.

Sycamore barn is beautiful , extremely well furnished and equipped , its in a perfect location for exploring the local area and the village of Holt is stunning . Would definitely rebook

This cottage was the best we have ever stayed in, and we have stayed in many. It was beautifully decorated and appointed. The garden, firepit and hot tub were just fantastic. The owners were prompt and friendly when sorting a small Wi-Fi issue. Sycamore Barn is a 5 star place and we would love to return.
