This idyllic cottage is in the quaint village of Docking, just 5 miles from Norfolk’s coast. The property sleeps five guests and is perfect for families and groups of friends looking to get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Walkers will be in their element, with the long-distance Peddars Way passing just outside the village, and the Norfolk Coast Path within 5 miles. For shopping and eating out, Burnham Market is 6 miles away.

The traditional brick and flint cottage has many of its original features and is decorated in a cute, country-cottage style. After a day of adventure, relax in the inviting lounge, where you’ll find a roaring wood burner, Smart TV, and plenty of creature comforts to make you feel at home. To the rear of the cottage is a galley-style kitchen and there’s also a separate dining room and a family bathroom on the ground floor. Steep, cottage-style stairs lead to the first floor and three pretty bedrooms. Also on this floor is a handy shower, tucked away in a cupboard. Outside, a private oasis awaits in the enclosed garden. Enjoy al fresco meals amongst the colourful flower, or simply relax on the bench with your favourite book and soak up the sunshine.

The North Norfolk coast is dotted with spectacular beaches. Arguably one of the finest is Wells-next-the-Sea (12 miles), with its golden sands, colourful beach huts, and lush pinewoods. For a spot of retail therapy, head to the Georgian village of Burnham Market, which is known for its impressive array of independent and specialist shops. For nature lovers, you’ll find excellent birdwatching at RSPB Titchwell (5.5 miles) and you can also visit the colony of grey seals at Blakeney Point (24.5 miles).

Very cute cottage in a fab location. Plenty of room for our family of two adults and two teenage children. Lovely comfortable beds and linen. Quiet location but within easy walking distance of the local chippy and shop.

The cottage was quaint . Really comfortable bed and bedding. We loved the decor and furniture and the little study. The upstairs shower might have been best made in to a toilet and washbasin, and a hand shower fitted over the bath downstairs.

Had a wonderful stay at honey Hill, delightful cottage and perfect location for visiting North Norfolk. Lovely ambience, felt like you was in Kate Winslet cottage in the holiday, the cottage garden was lovely as it was in full bloom. Kitchen was well equipped, washing machine, fridge and a small freezer. Lots of plates, cups, glasses and uteRead morensils. Lounge area was very cozy with good WIFI access. Very homely and good vibes. It has three bedrooms, a single room and two doubles. Lovely white clean linen (always nice to have plenty of towels) You are a five minute walk to Docking fish and chips (we went twice in our week as was very yummy and fresh) never walked to the pub as stayed mostly in the cottage garden as was lovely weather to enjoy a nice drink. Perfect location for getting to Hunstanton, brancaster beach, holkam estate (this beach is a must) castle acre and Holt. Parking was excellent just on the property. Highly recommend. Just a note that if you have a small dog or puppy they might get thru the gaps in the gate. Hide

Nice wee cottage. Garden not fully enclosed as small dogs could get through gaps and also, it's smaller than it looks in the photos. Would recommend as long as someone drives as the bus service is reliable but only 4 per day, last one finishes with the school runs and taxi's are v expensive

Beautiful well kept cottage. Great for a family of 5. Only concern is the very steep stairs which would be difficult with elderly, less able or children. Would certainly pay a return visit

Had a lovey stay at Honey Hill cottage over Christmas. The cottage was excellent, in a great location and particularly cosy in the evenings with the log burner fired up. I'd definitely stay again and certainly would recommend to anyone wanting to stay in a charming, cosy, getaway in Norfolk.
