This idyllic holiday home for small families and groups of friends is in the picturesque village of Blakeney on the Norfolk coast. The area is a haven for walkers and wildlife enthusiasts, with Blakeney National Nature Reserve and the Norfolk Coast Path on your doorstep. From Blakeney, it’s easy to take day trips to Norfolk highlights such as Cromer, Wells-next-the-Sea, and Mundesley (all within 20 miles).
The picture-postcard cottage is set down a narrow lane in the heart of the village. Inside, the property cleverly combines original features with contemporary touches, to create a cosy and comfortable holiday home. A stylish kitchen/diner is the perfect place for spending quality time together, cooking up a storm using local ingredients and coming together for memorable mealtimes at the beautiful wooden dining table. After dinner, relax in the delightful lounge, with its beamed ceiling, roaring wood burner, and Smart TV. Cottage-style stairs wind to the first floor and the two bedrooms - one of which is a bunk bedroom – and the family bathroom. You’ll find a TV in both bedrooms, as well as the bathroom! Outside, across the lane, a gate leads to an enclosed courtyard where you can enjoy outdoor meals during summer months.
Blakeney is a charming coastal village, with pretty cottages, cosy pubs, gift shops, and art galleries. After a potter around the village, head down to the quay to watch the boats coming and going or perhaps join one of the cruises to Blakeney Point to visit the resident seal colony. The North Norfolk coast is home to a fine collection of beaches, from the vast expanses of golden sand at Brancaster (18 miles) to the traditional seaside setting of Cromer (14 miles), with its Victorian pier, arcades, and family attractions.
