This charming property, located in the peaceful village of Trimingham just 2 miles from a sandy beach, offers a tranquil retreat for anyone looking to spend some time near the coast and countryside. Sleeping four guests across three welcoming bedrooms, this holiday home is ideal for families, couples or groups of friends that want a relaxing hideaway to return to after a long day out walking. The Norfolk Coast Path is less than 200 metres away and there are plenty of circular routes in the area. When you get home, spend sunny evenings on the patio, enjoying al fresco drinks as the sun sets.

The property, which includes a brick shed in the garden that a neighbour has access to, is spacious and inviting. The kitchen is fresh and bright with pops of colour in the decor, and the conservatory-style dining room will keep you warm whilst eating dinner during the colder months. In the lounge, calming neutral tones blend with peaceful blues to beckon you to sink into the sofas in front of the wood burner, either curled up with your favourite book or ready to watch something on the Smart TV. The shower room can also be found on this floor. Watch your head on the low ceilings as you climb the steep stairs to the bedrooms; each room has been thoughtfully furnished to promote a good night’s sleep so you’re ready for tomorrow’s adventures. To the rear of the property, you will find an enclosed courtyard-style garden where there is also a large garden room in which bicycles or surfing equipment can be stored.

Head off to Mundesley Beach (2.5 miles) for a day of building sandcastles, or visit the pier, zoo and amusement arcades in neighbouring Cromer (5 miles). Climb aboard the North Norfolk Railway’s Poppy Line from Sheringham (9.5 miles) and enjoy a scenic 5.5-mile train ride or go on a longer ride through the valley with the Bure Valley Railway from Aylsham (12.5 miles). Blickling Estate (11.5 miles) is ideal for a stroll around the gardens and stately home, while the explorers among you will love the high ropes and tree-top trail at Hilltop Outdoor Centre (9.5 miles).

A very warm and comfortable cottage to return to after a day out in the cold. The beds were comfortable, as were the sofas and the kitchen was spacious and well equipped. The annexe room in the garden was perfect for storing our bikes and a useful space to enable us to mend a puncture on one of the bikes! Its a lovely quiet and flat area to exploreRead more on bikes. We would be happy to return, especially with the convenience of the bus stop at the end of the road- using the coast hopper bus is an excellent and stress free way of exploring and its very cheap too.
