Cosy and filled with charm, this two-bedroom cottage makes a wonderful home away from home for couples or small families looking to explore the North Norfolk coast. Constructed from Norfolk carrstone, this traditional property has been renovated with guests’ comfort in mind, while the courtyard patio offers outdoor space. Its proximity to beaches, walks and nature reserves makes it perfect for those who love the great outdoors.
With half-panelled walls and a lovely wooden floor and staircase, the lounge has a relaxed elegance, ideal for putting your feet up after a long walk along the beach, and watching shows on the Sky TV. A door leads through to the stylish kitchen, which is well equipped for cooking up a storm with a statement oven, and a dining table for family mealtimes. In warm weather, why not dine alfresco on the rear patio? There’s an outdoor utility room with extra freezer space plus washing facilities. Upstairs there are two tastefully presented bedrooms, a double and a quirky twin room, along with a family shower room.
Snettisham is a quiet village, set away from the main coastal resorts yet offering plenty of amenities, including several nice restaurants and cafes. There are walks from the village, and Snettisham beach and RSPB reserve are just 3 miles away. The neighbouring village of Heacham (2.5 miles) offers quiet beaches and the Norfolk Lavender Farm, while the seaside resort of Hunstanton (4.5 miles) boasts long, sandy beaches with dramatic cliffs and plenty of traditional seaside fun including a funfair and lots of fish and chip shops. From here you can pick up the Norfolk Coast Path for walks or go birdwatching at RSPB Titchwell and Holme Dunes (both within 10 miles).
