This charming property set over two floors has a beautiful interior which retains a cottage feel and blends it with elegant contemporary furnishings. The decor has splashes of bold colours, so it is a vibrant space combined with plenty of natural light. Thoughtful design means you can socialise easily. The contemporary kitchen makes meal preparation a breeze, and you can linger in a dining room with the sofas and a wood burner. Upstairs are two bedrooms, one double and one twin, a bathroom, and a study. Outside is an outhouse and a lawned garden area with a patio and furniture.

Holt is also home to the North Norfolk Steam Railway, so hop aboard and head the few miles to the scenic coast at Sheringham (6.5 miles), where you can take a walk along the Norfolk Coast Path or take your buckets and spades or water sports gear for a day on the beach. Step back in time at Felbrigg Hall (10.5 miles), boasting a 17th-century hall, wonderful walled gardens, and 380 acres of woodland to explore.

We had a fabulous week at Rose Brick cottage as a family with two children. It had everything we needed for a very comfortable stay. If anything it was better than it looked from the photos! We didnt use the garden room this time but it would be lovely to sit out there in the summer with a coffee or a glass of wine. A great location for exploring tRead morehe North Norfolk coast or just walking down to Holt to potter about. I would stay again without hesitation. Hide

A bit of attention and you could make this property a 5 star property. We enjoyed our time at the cottage but the weather was awful and really spoiled our break, looking at the price we paid and the fact it is a 6 day stay due to the arrival time of after4pm I feel better value would be to travel abroad. The entry to the property was disappointing Read moredue to the vegetation by the front door, and the kettle was ready for replacing due to its condition inside. Regards. Hide

The cottage was spacious, comfortable and clean. It was in a perfect location for access to Holt and for visiting sightseeing places around North Norfolk. The house offered everything we needed as a family with a lovely garden too. The bedrooms are both good sizes with comfy beds. The house was really well equipped which made life really easy witRead moreh two young children in tow. I only have two comments, one is the balustrade on the stairs which has large gaps which if I had a toddler I would have been very concerned about. Absolutely fine for my 5 year old and 3 month old to stay well away from but for a child between 1-4 years old it wouldn't be safe. There is also a very small step into the kitchen from the dining room - absolutely fine once we knew it was there but we all tripped over it the first time! Maybe just a white line would highlight it! Overall a great holiday home and we would definitely recommend it. Hide

Perfect! Very clean, comfortable, spacious accommodation - especially the bed!- thoughtfully decorated and presented (loved the artwork!) very adequately equipped - (only request - a teapot please!). My one issue was dealt with extremely promptly and courteously. Brilliant location for exploring the area. I'd definitely recommend this one!
