Set within the heart of the North Norfolk coastal town of Sheringham, this beautiful stone-fronted house is ideal for families, friends or couples looking for a relaxing seaside holiday. Walk to the promenade and beach in less than 500 metres, while the shops and eateries are on your doorstep. Sheringham is a thriving traditional seaside resort and a great year-round destination offering golf, sea fishing, and a sandy beach which disappears at high tide, leaving the boulders on the shore with wonderful rockpools to explore while you wait for the tide to ebb and reveal the sand once more.

This lovely property set over two floors has a coastal theme and a cottage feel with original features such as exposed wooden ceiling beams and brick walls blended with all the contemporary comforts for a wonderful stay. On the ground floor is a living/dining area with a long sofa to unwind while watching the Smart TV or reading, and a wood burner effect electric fire for the cooler months to keep things cosy. The kitchen has all the equipment you need to create memorable meals, while a bathroom and a twin bedroom complete the downstairs features. Upstairs you will find a cosy king-size bedroom with an en-suite bathroom.

The area around Sheringham is great for nature, bird watching and walking, with the Norfolk Coastal Path close by the bird centre at Cley-next-the-Sea only eight miles and the seal colony at Blakeney Point nine miles. The Poppy Line will take you by steam or diesel train through the beautiful countryside to the market town of Holt (7 miles), where you can explore the mix of art galleries, shops, cafes, and pubs. Or step back in time at Blickling Hall (12 miles), discover the Jacobean Mansion, and walk the trails through the estate.

It was perfect for us, we took my elderly parents on holiday with us and to have a downstairs bedroom and toilet was ideal. Well equipped, excellent location near to everything but still quiet in the cottage. Upstairs is not suitable for people with mobility issues or tall! but was ok for us. Really lovely holiday and my parents are already planninRead moreg a return visit. Hide

Great location, comfy beds and a decent amount of living room space for three. Whilst there is no on-site parking, it was easy to find somewhere close by. Would definitely stay here again, hopefully, the WiFi would have been improved by then.

The cottage was gorgeous, it was well presented and comfortable. The ensuite bathroom upstairs was too small to comfortably use and we found the additional cost to park a little annoying. The boiler broke on the last day so we went home a day early. I would still go back as it is a great little house.

We did appreciate the new bed upstairs along with its different duvet and linen. Considerably more comfortable than last time we were there.

Lovely place to stay with all the modern cons provided. So comfy and cosy! Got some decorating inspiration ideas from staying there! Didnt want to leave after the week was over. Great location to visit many nearby places and beaches. Really enjoyed my stay with my resident. He was also very relaxed and content staying at the cottage.
