A delightful house that has warm, rich tones and comfortable contemporary furnishings and decor to ensure a wonderful stay. Step inside, and there is a living/dining room with plush leather sofas to lounge on while chatting or watching your favourite films on the TV. French doors lead from the living area onto the decking. The kitchen has all the necessary appliances to whip up tasty meals, and a door leads out to the garden. When it is time to sleep, there are two lovely bedrooms: a double with a TV and a twin, both with TVs. A family bathroom with a shower over the bath and WC complete this inviting country retreat. Outside, you can unwind in the enclosed gravel garden with garden furniture and a gazebo, perfect for making the most of sunny days and summer sunsets.
For a day at the beach, head to Kessingland Beach (20 miles), which has a sandy and shingle beach backed by dunes, so bring your bucket and spades. The nearby village of Bungay (6 miles) is famous for its castle, which is also a starting point for a delightful ten-mile circular walk. When you finish the walk, be sure to pick up some of the local Baron Bigod cheese. Alternatively, head toward Norwich and spend a day at the marvellous Whitlingham Country Park (18.5 miles).
