This idyllic brick and flint cottage is in the charming village of Weybourne, close to its shops and pub and just 1 mile from the beach. The cottage sleeps four guests and is perfect for both couples and small families looking to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life. You''ll be perfectly placed for exploring Norfolk highlights such as Blakeney Point, Cromer, and Holt Country Park (all within 8 miles).
The traditional terraced cottage beautifully combines elegant, contemporary decor with stunning original features. The welcoming lounge is a gorgeous place to unwind in the evenings, with a Smart TV and comfortable seating set around a striking red brick fireplace housing a roaring wood burner. The spacious kitchen/diner has a tiled floor and a dining table set next to a second wood burner - a cosy spot for family mealtimes. Upstairs, you''ll find a tastefully decorated twin bedroom and an impressive bathroom with a roll-top bath. The remaining bedroom is on the second floor, set under the eaves (this room has restricted head height in some areas). Outside, there''s a small, enclosed courtyard with furniture and a Gas BBQ for al fresco dining. Steps lead from here, through to a ‘secret garden'' with a lawn - the ideal place for children and four-legged guests to burn off steam.
Weybourne is a pretty village with several local shops and a cosy pub. The North Norfolk Railway stops in the village, and you can hop on the steam train to visit the coastal resort of Sheringham or the Georgian market town of Holt. Also, just outside the village, is the fascinating Muckleburgh Collection of military vehicles. Weybourne has a quiet, shingle beach; the deep waters here make it popular with sea anglers. There are some stunning walks nearby, including the 3-mile clifftop path to Sheringham.
