We had a lovely time staying at the property for our 4 generations family holiday. We had plenty of space to relax together or spend time separately when wanted. The travel cot and highchair provided made it much easier to travel with our two small children as it meant we only had to bring things for one of them. There are lots of toys and chilRead moredrens plates/cups/cutlery that its a shame arent mentioned in the listing itself, as we didnt need to pack lots of these things we packed! The garden is a lovely space to have for the children to be able to go out in while we were at the property. Having two parking spaces is also great. The location is good to get to the beach or the town. The closest way down to the beach is from very high up the cliff and so is a longer walk than anticipated, but you can choose to walk further down towards the pier before going down the slope to the promenade if you need to have a shorter slope (especially on the way back!). The caretaker was very helpful when we accidentally locked ourselves out, and had sorted bringing the spare key within a couple of hours (luckily it was as we were leaving for the beach that we realised we had left the keys inside - whoops!). We had a wonderful time and would definitely stay at the property again should we be returning to Cromer as a big family. Hide

Lovely house with an extremely well equipped kitchen that made cooking a full breakfast easy. Clean and comfortable with a nice garden. Great location for the beach and town. We had a lovely bank holiday weekend here.

A fantastic house for a large family. Very well equipped, had no need to bring toys, cutlery and plates etc for grandchildren with us! Lovely large enclosed garden which was very sunny during our visit and great for Easter Egg hunt. Nice location, near to shops, beach and pier but away from too much hustle and bustle of the busy town. A bonus to Read morehave two parking spaces at accomodation. Hide

Fantastic location, brilliant size. Extremely well stocked with games and kitchen supplies etc. Lots of thoughtful touches to make it homely and a fun and easy time away. From the point of initial booking and actually arriving, the BBQ disappeared from the property description and this was no longer there. The general cleanliness massively let theRead more property down. Ordinarily this would not have made so much of an impact to the holiday, however my 2 year old found loose medication in a cupboard that had clearly not been checked. And my 4 year old hurt himself on a broken toilet seat upstairs. This would have been obvious that it was broken had anyone cleaned it properly, but also because a precious occupant had mentioned it being broken in the maintenance book and this was ignored or not checked. I would suggest a thorough deep clean is required to bring this up to scratch and it was a real shame as otherwise this would be a fantastic property to choose. Response from holidaycottages.co.uk: Thank you for your review. We can confirm that we have addressed and resolved these issues. Hide

Lovely house, well decorated and presented in a perfect location - close enough to the town centre to allow us to walk in. Looked to have been refreshed since our last visit (2023) which new flooring and fresh paint. Very comfortable and easily accommodated 9 people - six adults and three grand children.

We had a pleasant week and the location is great but the sea view is limited especially at the moment with works taking place across the road. There are some issues that could be easily resolved to make this a really excellent place to stay.
