Escape to this stunning coastal barn, situated in the beautiful conservation village of Salthouse, where you can unwind and take in the mesmerising views of the salt marshes and the sea. Sleeping four guests over two peaceful bedrooms, this property is perfect for couples or small families looking for a relaxing holiday where they can enjoy both the tranquillity of an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and all the traditions of a typical British seaside holiday. Explore the picturesque villages of Cley-next-the-Sea (2.5 miles) and Blakeney (4 miles) as well as the bustling resort town, Cromer (9.5 miles).

This gorgeous property blends modern comforts with timeless character. Curl up on the comfortable sofa in the lounge surrounded by soft, neutral tones and nods to the coast in the furnishings, or enjoy sociable meals in the contemporary kitchen/diner. On sunny days, dine alfresco on the patio then retire to the summer house, enjoying the mature plants in the garden. Upstairs, two wonderful bedrooms await, both with breathtaking views of the marshes and the sea; nab the main bedroom to take advantage of the sumptuous free-standing bath in the en-suite and indulge in a soak to wind down before bed.

Take a stroll along Peddars Way and the Norfolk Coast Path, both of which run through the village, and take in the fantastic landscapes. Visit the renowned Holkham Hall (14 miles), a magnificent stately home surrounded by parklands, or wander the enchanting nature reserves of Cley Marshes (2 miles) and Titchwell Marsh (23 miles) that attract a wide range of birds. Uncover the historic charm of Norfolk's coastal villages and immerse yourself in its rich heritage by taking a ride on the North Norfolk Railway’s Poppy Line from Sheringham (5 miles), which is run almost entirely by volunteers.

Great place to stay- well equipped, comfy big beds - everything was of a high standard. Basic local shop, great seafood shop/cafe and a pleasant pub all within easy walking distance.

A beautiful property in a wonderful location. It would have scored a 5 for everything but for a few very minor things. One of the minor issues was that the house details advertised said nothing about a coffee pod machine, but did show a picture of a cafetire. We took lots of fresh coffee with us which we could only use by brewing in a tea pot, and Read moreeven if we had been made aware of the machine beforehand, there is nowhere nearby to buy pods from! This was all eventually resolved when the owner arrived on our 4th day there with a cafetierre! ?? It was really lovely to meet him and we had a great chat over coffee!! Hide

Property was beautifully fitted out with very high quality structure and utensils. The problem that we had with the heating was rapidly dealt with by the Owners and their electrician. We were very comfortable there.
