This charming Norfolk cottage is in the quaint coastal village of East Runton, just 500 metres from its long, sandy beach. The property sleeps eight guests and, with its large dining area and two lounges, is the perfect base for family get-togethers and holidays with friends. The popular seaside resorts of Cromer and Sheringham are within 4 miles, and you can also take a day trip to the Norfolk Broads (20 miles).

The traditional brick and flint former fisherman''s cottage has been tastefully styled and decorated, with a mix of contemporary furniture, homely accessories, colourful soft furnishings, and original features. At the heart of the home is a country-style kitchen/diner, with plenty of worktop space and a large dining table to seat everyone. After dinner, step down into the cosy lounge area to chill out on the sofa and watch the Smart TV/DVD. Alternatively, slink away to the separate snug with a book or your favourite movie on the SkyTV. Also on the ground floor is a double bedroom, a shower room, and a family bathroom. The remaining bedrooms are on the second floor. Outside, an enclosed courtyard garden with outdoor furniture provides the perfect spot for a peaceful sundowner.

East Runton is a delightful village, with a handful of local shops, along with a cute tearoom and two friendly pubs. East Runton Beach is truly spectacular, with a vast expanse of golden sand backed by sandstone cliffs. The beach is popular with fossil hunters, and is also one of Norfolk''s surfing hotspots. At low tide, you can take the 1.5-mile stroll along the sand to the bustling resort of Cromer, with its Victorian pier and excellent array of shops and eateries. Nearby family days out include Sheringham Park, Blakeney Point, and Felbrigg Hall (all within 11 miles).

Excellent cottage in a good location for access to the beach. Limited room for car parking which takes quite a bit of maneuvering to get two cars in.

A fabulous weekend at Eva Cottage for us 5 ladies. A perfect sized group of individuals to share this space. We loved the location and it was so easy to get out and walk either on the beach or to Cromer or Sheringham. The Co-op around the corner was really useful for last minute food supplies and we felt very cosy in the January temperatures. Read moreLooking forward to re-booking with our families! Hide

What a beautiful cottage, everything looks beautiful and it is so spacious, we couldn't be more pleased. We stay every year and this is the best cottage by far! It is so close to the beach making it very easy to surf and swim. We have had a lovely holiday, this cottage is more than we could have dreamed of.

The property would not fit 8 adults comfortably, the upstairs bedrooms are very snug, one hasnt even got anywhere to put clothes away, just coat hangers hanging on the wall. We are all fairly small and still found the en-suite bathroom very small. The oven was small and there was not enough Pyrex like bowls, I have just realised typing this the bigRead more one I used during the week was mine anyway from a lasagne I bought with me and I have lleft it at the property forgetting, so at least there is one thing there for that kind of meal.?? The cottage is lovely, in a great location and we really enjoyed our stay. I think it would help future bookers to understand that the picture of the outside area is in the middle of the property and not a garden. A BBQ would be great. Overall we loved the place.

Overall we loved our stay. Enough space for multi generational stay, lovely neighbours and community, and quality hoover to help keep clean during the week (something us responsible dog owners love to have and from the cleanliness of the cottage we wanted to respect). Slight (very slight) negatives that could improve our stay would be outdoor hose Read moreattachment to the outdoor tap to help clean down muddy or salty boots & dog, and the beds a bit too bouncy, but as I said very slight and didn't ruin our stay. Thank you for our holiday. Hide
