For a replenishing holiday by the sea in Norfolk, stay at this sunny cottage just 350 metres from the beach in Cromer. It has a pleasant, airy atmosphere and space for up to four over its two rooms, making it ideal for a couple or a small family. Since Cromer is located within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, you’ll find plenty of scenic walking and cycling opportunities in the vicinity and an abundance of wildlife, including rare breeding birds.

The inside of the apartment is decorated in gentle tones, with decorative touches reflecting its coastal location. In the light-filled open-plan living area, eat meals together at the bay window then relax on the sofas to enjoy something on the Smart TV. Meal prep is comfortable and easy in the well-equipped kitchen, which has a handy breakfast bar providing an extra space for snacking or sipping tea. Outside you’ll have your own private courtyard, furnished with a picnic bench. which is excellent for fresh-air dining or enjoying a morning coffee as you draw up a plan for the day. The space is decorated with planters and sunset views on fine evenings.

You’ll have everything you need in the streets surrounding the property, with independent shops, pubs and restaurants all within 350 metres. At the beach, you can spend afternoons surfing, stand-up paddleboarding or rock pooling, and perhaps wander along to Cromer’s Victorian pier (500 metres), which has a flourishing theatre at the end. There are plenty of excellent options for day trips, such as the National Trust sites at Felbrigg Estate and Gardens (2 miles) and Sheringham Park (5.5 miles).

This was a lovely little basement flat, superbly located for the seafront. Everything appeared new and was all in great order. Amazed by the number of sockets.

We have stayed at Sandcastles three times now and have always been very comfortable there. It is a lovely property which is ideally located in Cromer. It is only a few minutes walk away from the beach, local shops and restaurants. We would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend it.

We had a lovely stay in the apartment, it was clean, tidy, well equipped. This was our second stay and it did not disappoint. In a great location in but still remained a quite position.

Location is perfect, we stayed in the main 6 weeks holidays and did not struggle to park. Cleanliness needs addressing! I would not recommend this place currently but if cleaned thoroughly it could be perfect.

We had a great stay at this property. Its really well equipped, everything you could need. Property is well thought out and perfect for a family. In a great location, close to the town and beach. Wonderful place to stay in Cromer, close to the beach and the town. We went with our young children and was very suitable, some games and books for young kids too. Lovely treats when we arrived which was very welcoming.

beautiful location just a few minutes walk from both the town centre and the beach front. Clean and tidy with a very nice welcoming pack. There was an issue with the fire alarm bleeping but on contacting the owners they immediately sent out a maintenance team to correct things and so everything was soon ok.
