Great cottage and in a lovely location. We enjoyed early evening walks with our dog on the beach that is only 10 minutes walk from the cottage. The pub is next door which was handy and the landlady was friendly. Cottage is very well equipped, nicely presented and we were grateful for the welcome gifts from the owner. Lovely location for a cottage Unfortunately the cottage smelt musty and not at all welcoming . Very hard to get rid or lessen the musty smell. No cleaning products left and no spare loo rolls Such a shame as the cottage had the potential to be stunning.

The location is perfect for the dog friendly beach and a short drive to many more family friendly beaches. The final day saw the children at BewilderwoRead moreod whilst the older members of the family walked the dog along the beach to Smallsticks cafe for a cream tea. We really enjoyed our stay at Phoenix cottage. It had everything you would need for a family holiday and had a relaxing feel about it. Situated adjacent to the church it was in a very peaceful location. Although the property is situated on the lane that leads to the local pub, this did not cause any issues whatsoever. There is a beach a few minutRead morees walk away, across fields at the rear of the pub, which is very pleasant. Parking of two cars is possible but getting in and out of the driveway may be challenging for some, especially if you have a larger vehicle. I would certainly recommend Phoenix cottage for anyone wanting to visit this part of Norfolk. Hide
