Unwind in this homely and spacious three-bedroom cottage surrounded by tranquil countryside and just 200 metres from the sea. Bring two canine companions to enjoy the large enclosed garden and spend quality time with your loved ones in the conservatory – where you can tuck into a banquet at the dining table. When you’re not relaxing at the beach, you have a choice of the Norfolk Coast Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty or The Broads National Park to explore, as both are within easy reach.

Step inside the bright, neutral-toned farmhouse-style kitchen with a one-wall fitted unit, a convenient dishwasher plus a breakfast table with seating for four. Continue into the lounge to find two large sofas and footstall plus wooden furnishings and a pop of cheerful yellow in the decor. A sliding door opens into the conservatory which houses soft seating and a dining table with seating for six. There is also a utility room, a family bathroom plus three bedrooms – two doubles and a twin room with a pull-out truckle bed. Outside is a garden with patios, lawn and furniture.

During your stay in Walcott, you’ll benefit from its tranquil surroundings and proximity to the beach (200 metres). Start your day with a swim in the sea with Fido and stroll south along the waterfront to reach the imposing Happisburgh Lighthouse (3 miles). Broomholm (1 mile) offers a small selection of eateries if you fancy dining out. Head to the Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty to discover scenic walking routes, the RSPB Bee Eaters Viewpoint (7 miles) and the Sidestrand and Trimmingham Cliffs (7.5 miles). The Broads is 3.5 miles away and is home to numerous lakes and nature reserves, like Hickling Broad (9 miles).

Field Horizon was the perfect accommodation and location for our first visit to Norfolk. The cleanliness and comfort of the bungalow was exceptional and fully equipped with everything you need for a dog friendly holiday on the coast. The spacious back garden with views across the fields was lovely. Our two Labrador Retrievers had a fantastic time eRead moreither in the garden or on the beach. Firstly we enjoyed the property and Walcott so much we booked another two weeks before we even left the first holiday. Loved the conservatory and garden so much we spent a lot of time there rather than going out. Kitchen was big and fab, it was great to sit there having meals. Large living room and with large TV, great quality of picture.

Well equipped bungalow, spotlessly clean and well maintained. Enclosed garden great for dog. Ideal location being 5 mins to beach, great village store, caf and fish and chip shop..

Ive stayed in this holiday home twice now. Its very well equipped and always immaculately clean. Great value considering you could have 6 people staying. I would highly recommend the property.

This is a fabulous holiday let, very good value for money. Its really well equipped, lots of parking and the cleanest holiday home Ive stayed in. I wasnt sure about the area as I hadnt stayed here before. However would recommend it. The beach was easily accessible, the village store was very reasonable and a great fish and chip shop! The bungalow was large and spotlessly clean. Better than we could of imagined. So close to the beach, shop, fish and chips. We took our 80 year father with us and 2 dogs. We all thoroughly enjoyed the peace and quiet and super location. Walking along to the poachers pocket a must. Lots of places to visit. Look forward to returning soon.
