This delightful cottage, situated in the peaceful village of Letheringsett just 4.5 miles from tranquil Cley-next-the-Sea, is ideal for couples or small families looking for an escape to the North Norfolk coast and countryside. Sleeping four guests over two welcoming bedrooms, it won’t be long before you’re feeling refreshed and ready to get out and explore this wonderful area. Go seal spotting at Blakeney Point (7.5 miles) or take the whole family out for a walk and a picnic at Holt Country Park (2 miles) before heading back for a drink at the family-friendly pub just half a mile from your front door.

The property, which is made from the charming traditional Norfolk stone, is cosy and inviting. The farmhouse-style kitchen has everything you need to cook up a tasty meal including a fabulous feature AGA and stylish splashback, while neutral decor and a wood burner in the lounge make it the perfect place to snuggle up in in the evening. The bright sunroom is a wonderful spot for a morning coffee or to enjoy the garden when it’s a little chilly to sit outside, but when it’s warm enough, sizzle up a BBQ and dine alfresco among the established plants and flowers. Back inside, cottage-style stairs lead to two bedrooms: a king-size and a twin, both serviced by a family bathroom.

Make sure you visit Holt (1.5 miles), where art galleries, bookshops and restaurants will keep you busy all day. Take a ride on the North Norfolk Railway from Sheringham (8 miles) or visit the National Trust’s Sheringham Park (5.5 miles) where you can walk the trails and catch glimpses of the sea. Have a day of family fun in Cromer (11 miles) where you can go crabbing, visit the arcades and scoff fish and chips and ice cream. If you’re looking for something more peaceful, stroll the ruins of Walsingham Abbey (10 miles), surrounded by 20 acres of woodland.

This is a beautiful traditional cottage just outside Holt - its even nicer than it looks in the pictures. The beds were really comfortable and we loved the garden too and the peace and quiet . The stairs are quite steep and handrail quite low for anyone who might struggle .

A blissful restful stay in a cottage full of charm. Cosy, warm and peaceful. We sat in conservatory watching the wildlife then at night the amazing dark skies. Perfect location for exploring area with Holt for shops and a gorgeous pub on your doorstep. In summary for us "just what the doctor ordered".

We had a really lovely holiday at End Cottage. It was a great space for myself, my partner and 2 teenage boys, and the conservatory was well used! Facilities and comfort all first rate. I spotted a muntjac deer just beyond the garden, and there are red kites in the area too. Letheringsett was a perfect base for us; Jarrolds deli / butcher / cafe juRead morest outside the village, King's Head amazing meal, cycle routes from house, and also a short drive to Sherringham Park for track cycling and nice walks. Holt town is minutes away too, and a beautiful place with handy Budgen's supermarket. Further beyond, Norfolk has so much to offer - the Broads, historic homes, beaches, Norwich Cathedral and Castle... Excellent property and stunning part of the country. Thank you! Hide

End cottage is well located, living up to its name at the end of a quiet lane. Its location is excellent for exploring North Norfolk. By way of comfort and equipment its one of the best cottages we have ever stayed in and we would thoroughly recommend it.
