This cottage is ideal for either two or four people. Plenty of space, very clean and well equipped with off road parking. An ideal situation for exploring the north Norfolk coast. Only a pub in the village but shops, restaurants, takeaways etc all available ten minutes down the road in Burnham Market.

A good location and great open garden space. Stairs are tricky, very steep and if have mobility issues I would avoid. Nicely set up kitchen, comfortable lounge. I did find the main bed very uncomfortable and crisp cotton sheets enhance a holiday let cf to polycotton. Knives are always an issue in lets - blunt (I have taken to carrying my own). We did find the location good for sightseeing and walking and an excellent information folder had been put together by the owner. Response from holidaycottages.co.uk Thank you for your review. We can confirm we have spoken to the owner and a new mattress has been purchased and a steel provided to sharpen knives. Hide

This cottage is in a lovely setting within a back meadow full of birds. We were so lucky with the weather meaning we could sit outside for our meals and enjoy the surroundings. The cottage is very historic and the owner gives a potted history in the folder of how it has been in her family for many years. Being historic comes with its quirks of courRead morese and the staircase and sloping bedroom floors are some of these. The property is in a pretty, quiet village but is well situated to visit the coast and inland attractions. Hide

Well-equipped cottage in a good location for exploring Norfolk's coastline. It is an old cottage so feels cold even when warm outside and the doorframe are VERY low so if you are a tall family, be mindful! The stairs are also extremely steep. The shower was very good and there were plenty of books, DVDs and games to keep you entertained
