Sleeping ten guests over five peaceful bedrooms, one in its own self-contained annexe, this single-level cottage suits a range of guest make-ups but offers everyone an escape from busy life. Wake up refreshed after a great night’s sleep, grab your morning coffee and head to the courtyard’s outdoor sofa to start your day with some sun.

The property, which also welcomes two dogs, is spacious and inviting. The kitchen is a pleasure to cook in with lots of light and charming traditional features like stone flooring and wooden units, while the lounge is a haven to relax in after a long day of walking. Exposed beams, vaulted ceilings and a cosy wood burner create a tranquil atmosphere among the calming blue tones of the sea. The summer room, with soft decor and comfortable sofas, offers a moment’s peace. When it’s time for bed, head down a couple of shallow steps to the en-suite bedrooms. And if you want some privacy, take the bedroom in the annexe that has its own kitchen and sofa to escape the hustle and bustle of the main house. We had a lovely comfortable family holiday in Cumfus Bottom. The kitchen was fantastic, with ample crockery, cutlery & cooking utensils. It was great to be so close to the marshes and the beach, the village shop was brilliant, the pub food was very good, and the football field behind the church was a hit with the kids. Thankyou!

A great property, easy walking distance to the coast and the pub! A fabulous base for our group of 8 over New Year, spacious and homely. Fully equipped, and we all loved the AGA, instant heat on those cold winter days. Plenty of great walking from your doorstep, and the slightly larger towns only a short drive away.

We always go to a cottage for our holiday and have done so for many years. This is by far the best accommodation we have used. We are a four generation family of visitors, and we were all catered for. Loved it, loved it, loved it.

We stayed as a family of 10 during a wonderful week of sunny weather. The house was perfect. The bedrooms were all very comfortable and the kitchen/living area were spacious. We loved the location. It was about 10 mins walk to the beach and only 2 mins to the great pub at the end of the road.

Fantastic cottage, perfect for a large family visit/celebration. The small annex is ideal for older family members. Second visit now and would love to visit again.

Lovely cottage, clean and tidy with everything you need for a family holiday. We were 8 adults 1 toddler a pair of 6 month old twins and the dog, plenty of room for all of us. The photographs really do not do the property justice.

Wonderful accommodation, close to the marshes and coast. Extremely spacious and yet cosy. Very useful attached but separate double room with kitchenette. Spotlessly clean with every piece of equipment possible. Just a lovely place for a family gathering, which we are all hoping to come back to.
