The neighbouring village of Heacham has a lovely farm shop at Norfolk Lavender where in summer you can enjoy the scented aroma of the lavender fields. Ornithologists are spoilt for choice with two RSPB Centres to visit close by, a little further around the coast at Cley-next-the-Sea is known as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, with coastal paths and salt marshes to explore along with an abundance of birdlife and a grey seal colony.
