This beautifully converted barn is brimming with character and high-quality furnishings, providing a comfortable and welcoming retreat for families and groups of friends. Surrounded by wildlife, it’s set in the quiet village of Shereford, and makes an ideal base for trips to sandy beaches, seaside towns, stately homes and nature reserves.
A high-ceiling criss-crossed by old beams gives the open-plan living space of this lovely holiday property enormous character and a feeling of airy space. Create tasty meals in the kitchen, which is equipped with a range cooker, linger over them at the wooden dining table and then relax in the lounge area, where comfortable sofas surround a Smart TV. At bedtime, you’ll find two of the three bedrooms on the ground floor - a twin with a pair of 2' 6" single beds plus an en-suite bathroom, and a double with a gorgeous exposed-flint wall. Up on the first floor, tucked under sloping ceilings with more exposed beams, is another double bedroom with a Smart TV. The two double rooms share the use of a lovely shower room on the ground floor. The courtyard outside is complemented by a covered seating area in the corner of another barn - just the spot for a morning coffee or some pre-dinner drinks.
