A rural retreat in the pretty hamlet of Brinton, this stunning cottage is perfect for all the family (including your four-legged family members) with plenty of space in three bedrooms, a conservatory, a living room, and large garden. It’s close to the stunning North Norfolk coast with wonderful towns, villages, and attractions to visit nearby.

The cottage has lots of its original charm and character, with stylish interiors and gorgeous period features throughout. Snuggle up in the cosy living room with the wood burner roaring and Fido dozing next to it. Next door is the dining room for spending memorable mealtimes together, and a good-sized kitchen with everything you need to cook up a storm, including an electric Range cooker. There’s extra space to relax with a good book or do some birdwatching in the conservatory overlooking the garden with French doors outside. Up the traditional Norfolk winder staircase are the gorgeous bedrooms, two doubles and a single with a bed and a cot for the little one. Before bed, have some me time in the rolltop bath in the family bathroom. Head outside with your morning cuppa or evening tipple and sit in the sunshine, the garden is enclosed but not entirely secure for dogs.

The Drift has a lot going for it - it's in a very peaceful location with Holt and the coast easily accessible. The cottage is a good size, but manages to feel cosy. The beds were very comfortable, with plenty of bedding and towels provided. A minor niggle - the guest info on site did say that there would be logs available for a first use of the woRead moreodburner, but unfortunately there weren't which was a bit of shame on our first evening (when it was cold and wet outside!). We did also have a problem one day with flies in the back bedroom (as mentioned by a previous reviewer) - it didn't spoil our trip, but could be an intermittent issue that needs dealing with. Hide

The drift is a lovely little cottage in a quiet and picturesque village. We stayed there in March and enjoyed a very pleasant and relaxing week. It has two good sized bedrooms and one single room just large enough for a bed but no other furniture. The lounge was cosy and we lit the wood burning stove on several occasions. The kitchen was well equipRead moreped but lacking a dishwasher. The stairs were steep but not as bad as some Norfolk cottages I have stayed in. The main issue for me was that this cottage was advertised as having an enclosed garden safe for children and pups but when I arrived I noticed after a quick inspection that there were large areas of fencing that were almost nonexistent. I had to keep my dog on the lead whenever we went outside, otherwise he could have escaped to next doors garden and beyond. I would think twice about staying there again but only for this reason. Otherwise I would definitely recommend. Hide

Spent an amazing week at this gorgeous, cosy and luxurious cottage. The log burner was wonderful on a cooler night and we had great fun hunting for logs in the woods we passed. A perfect cottage in a perfect location for visiting all that Norfolk has to offer. Cant wait to stay there again.

Absolutely amazing time and beautiful cottage along with the small quaint village. Would recommend a stay in the drift. Great quality bedding and towels. The log fire made our stay .

Whilst the property is old on entering it smelt musty. There were flies in the bedroom overlooking the garden. A seat in the bedroom would have been nice so that you can dry your hair. I was surprised there was not even a pint of milk in the fridge to welcome you. This the first property I have rented that had nothing!!!

Quiet, nice location in rural hamlet. Quaint, comfortable cottage, plenty big enough for 4 adults and a child. The stairs lead up from steps in the dining room and are quite steep and turn onto the landing. Beaches within 40 mins drive, local woodland at Holt for dog walking 5 mins drive away (parking charges apply). Lovely little cafe in car parRead morek serving drinks, ice creams cakes and breakfast rolls. Lots to do and visit locally. Property very warm even with no heating on. Lots of hot water for a relaxing bath after a busy day walking. Friendly neighbours and locals. Will definitely be back. Hide

The property was really comfortable and honestly felt like a home-from-home. The location was perfect for peace and quiet but close to the coast and Holt, a nearby market town.

We have stayed at this cottage before, the only disappointment on this occasion was no welcome provisions like in the previous year! This really did make a difference last year so going forward I would suggest that this is included for when guest arrive, especially if they are travelling some distance and it makes you stand out from other cottageRead more companies. Other than that we were very pleased with this wonderful and relaxing cottage. Hide
