Enjoy the stunning Norfolk Coast at this pretty flint cottage in a quiet spot in Blakeney, close to the quay, shops, cafes, and restaurants. After a fun day out, there’s plenty of space for all the family or group of friends to spend evenings together in the open-plan kitchen/diner with the wood burner roaring and relax in the lounge or the garden.
This traditional Norfolk cottage has a homely feel with a relaxed style, comfy furniture, and fittings. Lounge on the sofas, put the TV on, pick up a book from the shelves and relax in the elegant living room. Cook memorable meals in the well-appointed kitchen/diner, sit and enjoy them together, and while away an afternoon in the armchair next to the wood burner. There’s a utility room for doing your laundry and the gorgeous, contemporary bathroom is also on the ground floor. It’s upstairs to bed in three bedrooms: a spacious, bright king-size bedroom with awesome views, a gorgeous twin (or super-king), and a cool bunkroom for kids or adults; there’s also a cloakroom on the first floor. Sit in the sunshine with a drink in the south-facing courtyard gardens at the front or rear; wash sand off in the warm outside shower after a day on the beach.
Wander to the nearby high street to visit the deli, shops, and pubs, from just over 150 metres from the front door. The quay is nearby too, the perfect spot for crabbing, and you can book a boat trip from there to Blakeney Point to see the seal colony, go out sailing or head for a walk along the coast path. The area is a haven for birdwatchers in the nearby salt marches, and the stunning sandy beaches of Holkham (10.5 miles) and Wells-next-the-Sea (9 miles) are within reach.
