A grand red brick home oozing traditional country elegance and enveloped by an enchanting lawned garden. Set in a quiet corner of Cromer, this tastefully appointed abode is ideal for large family gatherings or long overdue reunions with friends plus a couple of furry tag-a-longs. Big kids and little adventurers alike are sure to delight in a wholesome afternoon of crabbing from the decks of Cromer Pier (500 metres), before sipping a chilled sundowner reclining on the raised deck at the bottom of the garden.

This sophisticated property features a sleek interior with high ceilings, stained glass windows, well-lived leather textures, and bay windows. Slip off your shoes in the wood-panelled reception hall then venture into the magnificent lounge/kitchen/diner. Throw open the patio doors and drink in the soft summer breeze as you cook up a storm in the cream shaker kitchen. Slide out a bottle of good stuff from the wine rack then feast around the glossy dining table with a tranquil garden backdrop. After dinner, stretch out on the leather chaise lounge and warm chilly toes in the glow of the wood burner effect gas fire. Escape to the games room for a tournament on the billiard table or delve into a novel curled in the cosy snug. Ascend the open staircase to discover four beautiful bedrooms in a range of configurations to suit the whole group. Outside, stroll beneath fruit trees, throw a ball for Fido, or get grilling on warm evenings.

Slip into wetsuits and pose for a group photo for gliding along the coastline of Cromer Beach (800 metres) on a tranquil SUP session. Sample local ales during a Brewery tour (600 metres) or graze through an indulgent afternoon tea (500 metres).

We had a fantastic week in October in this lovely rental house. The bathroom/shower rather lets it down but otherwise very comfortable, plenty of crockery and cutlery which was ideal as we had a family celebration with my parents who live very nearby. Beautiful short walk down to the beach.

The house itself is Beautiful and the location excellent but I would not call this a luxury stay . Poorly equipped and has a real issue with the hot water meaning that getting up and out in the mornings and ready after the beach took forever .It does have lots of room and a brilliant games room. Great for dogs . I feel this house is very expensive Read morecompared to other houses we have rented . Response from holidaycottages.co.uk: Thank you for your review. We have passed your feedback onto the owner. Hide

Second stay at Lismore, an excellent trip with a group of friends. The hot water / shower situation is an issue but we knew that before visiting and planned our days according. Would definitely return again.

A lovely big house for a family holiday. Best bits were the downstairs and the garden. Lovely open plan kitchen/dining/settee area. Games room brilliant. Great outdoor area for children and plenty of shade if its hot. BBQ and seating good. Lounger chairs could be updated. A most wonderful property, full of character. Our visit was for a special birthday and the house made it truly memorable, young and old, and the dog, had an amazing time.
