Found on a quiet residential road, this beautiful two-storey cottage is an idyllic retreat for a getaway in the heart of Norfolk. Sleeping four guests across two bedrooms, it is within a few hundred metres of Sheringham’s vibrant town centre and amazing beach. It is a light and breezy home with spacious living areas and provides a great launching pad for exploration around the North Norfolk coast.
After a day spent wandering along sandy beaches, kick back in the comfortable lounge/dining room. Watch a film on the TV, play some board games at the dining table or just curl up with a good book on the comfortable seating. Connected to the lounge is a well-equipped kitchen fit for all your catering needs, with an additional breakfast table. Also located on the ground floor is a convenient cloakroom with WC. Upstairs, two spacious bedrooms await. You can choose between a double (which can accommodate an additional single mattress if required), and a twin with an en-suite WC.
Plus, there’s a family bathroom found upstairs too. To top it all off, patio doors lead out onto a private courtyard garden. Here, you can spend time with loved ones in the sunshine, using the garden furniture and BBQ.
The bustling high street is only 200 metres away, where you can find an array of independent shops, cafes, seafood vendors and the Norbery Theatre. From there, you can easily access the gorgeous expanse of beach, which you can take a walk along as you savour an ice cream. Other great attractions include the Poppy Line steam railway that runs to the historic Georgian town of Holt (6 miles). Visit historic estates, such as Felbrigg Hall (5 miles) and Blicking Hall (12 miles), or venture further to Wells-next-the-Sea (17 miles) and see the lovely sandy beaches and wildlife reserves.
