Lovely cottage for our Norfolk stay and we loved it being so close to the path down to the beach. It was a steep path but easily managed at a slow pace.

Comfortable cottage, and easy to feel at home. The large private grass area outside the "front" door was not fully secure so dog exercise required a lead. The beach is down a steep roadway which deterred my wife, although my dog and I didn't mind too much. Only a short walk into Mundesley itself where the local pubs and chippy proved popular. We had a lovely week and the weather was gorgeous. We enjoyed going for meals at the Royal Hotel and walks along the beach from the cottage. We love the area, as used to stay in our touring caravan on Sandy Gulls, so know the village and area well. We managed with all of mum's equipment and she was able to get around too. We visited Blickling HRead moreall, Bure Valley Railway, Hoveton Hall Gardens, Walcott for fish n chips and their lovely Jersey ice cream, East Ruston Vicarage Gardens and called in Felbrigg Hall on the way home. We would love to visit again and would recommend to others, the views are fabulous. Hide

The Anchorage was an excellent base for a fantastic week in the lovely village of Mundesley. The cottage was very comfortable, and everything we could possibly need to provided. The views were spectacular, and it is an easy stroll into the village, which has all the facilities that you could possibly need for a nice, relaxing break.
