  • Perfect position for dining out, browsing in shops and strolling down to Cromer Beach
Property code: OC-1927

Return from your days out on the beach or long walks by the sea to the style and comfort of this exquisite former fisherman’s cottage in Cromer. Sleeping six guests, the three-bedroom retreat, which offers dog-friendly accommodation, has been beautifully renovated to provide a sumptuous North Norfolk base. Just 350 metres from the beach, and less than 100 metres from shops and eateries, the two-storey abode has an enclosed courtyard garden where you can fire up the BBQ on summer evenings.

Step up to enter this seaside cottage and make yourselves feel at home in its inviting rooms with their coastal-themed decor. Unwind in the lounge, where you can enjoy the warmth of the wood burner as you play games or watch a boxset on the Smart TV. Wander through to the spacious, chic kitchen/diner, to open a bottle of wine and prepare the next meal. Sit up at the breakfast bar as Sunday lunch roasts then set the table so everyone can join you. There is a WC downstairs. The bedrooms are all on the first floor. These include two king-sizes, with TVs, and a twin, with a TV and games console. The sumptuous family bathroom, with its freestanding bath, and another WC are also up here. Gather round the table out in the courtyard garden to dine in the fresh air when the weather is warm enough or to sit out under the evening sky as the stars start to appear. There is parking for one car with the cottage.

Explore the wider coastal area, with a visit to Blakeney, 13 miles away, where you can walk or take a boat trip out to see the seals. Keen walkers might also like to follow the 4.5-mile walk from Cromer to Sheringham and back along the Norfolk Coast Path.

  • 3 bedrooms – 2 king-sizes and 1 twin
  • 1 family bathroom, with free-standing bath and large walk-in shower (separate WC)
  • Built-in electric oven and induction hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, and washing machine

Great location, no more than 2 mins to high street and 5 mins to beach. Property has everything you need. Car parking for second vehicle out on the street was frustrating, no allocated parking and local workers / other tourists snap them up very quickly so you may not park near the property (if that bothers you).

Lovely, spacious, comfortable, and very well equipped property. Right in the heart of the town, a couple of minutes walk from the high strees, the location could not be better for Cromer and access to the surrounding areas. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would defintely come back again.

Fabulous holiday at this gem of a property! Perfect location in every way. Property welcoming, clean and well equipped. Dog water bowl and treats waiting for the dog as well as cakes for us (dog would have liked cakes too!!). Beds comfy, lounge comfy. Great big dining table good for socialising, eating and doing puzzles! Parking for a second Read morecar is an issue as road spaces not often available; however public carpark five minute walk away so manageable - private space behind property so helpful! And a bonus!. We will definitely be back! Loved the brisk ten minute walk to the dog friendly area of the glorious sandy beach - we were blessed with good tides! Bakery at end of the road had delicious croissant for breakfast - and Cromer offers a wide range of excellent shopping options .. and ice cream! Thank you to fab owners for sharing their gem! X Hide

A wonderful cosy cottage in the heart of Cromer. Perfect location to explore walks along the beach, pick of the bakeries and coffee shops. We stayed in February and it was cold but we were kept cosy with the wood burner alight! Would highly recommend this little gem.

Great comfortable property, well-furnished and equipped and ideal for Cromer High Street and seaside. Location perfect for trips out to other areas. Our 12-year-old granddaughter was in raptures over the bathroom's size and quality of its fittings. The x-box in the children's bedroom was an unexpected plus (but a bit of a curse as well - grandson wRead moreas reluctant to leave it at times). Parking in the courtyard accessed via an archway from the street. A bit awkward to reverse in order to exit but doable with care. Reversing out only recommended if someone stands in the street to guide the driver (view blocked by parked cars along the street), We would certainly consider booking in the future. Hide

From the moment you step into this cottage you immediately feel at home. The styling and decor is beautiful, like traditional seaside cottage with a contemporary edge. The kitchen has everything you need should you want to cook an evening meal, or prepare a picnic for the beach. Theres even a portable BBQ and picnic crockery you can use. We enjoRead moreyed breakfast round the table each morning before heading off on our adventures, then returning in the evening sipping wine snuggled up on the comfy sofas or sat outside on the small courtyard . The kids enjoyed the board games and books, and also the Xbox in the twin bedroom. The beds are really comfortable and the linen is of a good quality. There are also tvs in all the bedrooms. The location is just perfect. Just a five minute walk into town where there are many independent shops as well as a large Morrisons. The beach is about a ten minute walk away. We regularly loaded up our trolly with wet suits and body boards, walked down and spent the whole day there. A couple of evenings we sat on the beach sipping wine and watched the sunset, it really was just perfect. We visited many attractions including Pleasurewood Hills - ignore the bad reviews, our kids loved it, Shire horse sanctuary, Amazonia, The Reef swimming pool, Sheringham, RNLI visitors centre, Cromer church, The end of the pier show and Pensthorpe nature reserve to name a few, and we would thoroughly recommend all of them! There is so much to do! Would we return to Carpenters Cottage? Absolutely, in a heartbeat! Hide
