We attended a friends wedding in Essex then needed to travel to Norfolk for a week. We didn't want a hotel and Oakdene was the perfect cosy home for us! Maggie and Simon were so accommodating and welcoming. We felt at peace in their vacation rental...so much so that we plan to book again for our upcoming trip later this year.

The hosts were extreamly friendly and welcoming. The property was very spacious and extremley comfortable. The apartment was adjacent to the house, but due to the layout of the very large and superbly laid out garden it felt that you were in your own very cosy and private space, with lovely views onto the well tended gardens.

Lovely accommodation for two (needing a generous en-suite bedroom each). The garden is peaceful and the location ideal for Norwich, the Broads and the coast. And with good hosts too, we had the ideal stay at Oakdene

Friendly owners and a lovely dog. ( No dogs allowed in the holiday cottage which was exceptionally clean and so well equipped). The garden is beautiful and so peaceful. Ideal location for visiting the Broadswe visited Wroxham, Horning and Ranworth and saw loads of herons, but the kingfishers were too quick for us, and Norwich with its shops, catheRead moredral and market. Cromer is worth a visit as is Winterton on Sea. Wroxham miniature world is so interesting too. Thank you Maggie and Simon for a fabulous week and the generous welcome pack. Hide
