Little features including a stained-glass window, authentic wooden floorboards and exposed brickwork elevate this cottage’s quirky décor. In the lounge, sofas and armchairs are positioned around a Smart TV and a feature fireplace, a fabulous spot for getting stuck into a box set as night falls. Firstly beautiful cottage in a superb location for getting to the Quay and local shops. Cottage was clean and well equipped. Lovely art work. Be aware there is no welcome pack or toiltries provided so bring everything with you. It took us 61/2 hours to get there so a few bits to make a coffee begire finding the shops would have been a really welcoRead moreme addition. Furthermore, apart from a few tourist leaflets there is no information about the cottage provided, we had quite a hunt for the wifi code and it would have been nice if there was a bit of local info and hints and pointers for parking etc. Stairs to bedrooms rather steep but manageable but maybe not suitable for all. Our biggest issue was it says there is parking/ nearby parking which is why we chose this cottage. My partner has a blue badge and walking is an issue due to serioys health needs. There was never any parking in the lane and nearby lanes were double yellow lines so we had to park a good few roads away which made things very tricky for us. I feel that mentioning parking in the facilities is very misleading. Out of season I'm sure parking would be less of an issue. If it had mentioned that parking can be a problem in high season we could have made an informed choice. Once we eventually found a space we didn't want to loose it so used buses which were very good and a great way to get around and see tbe coastline in both directions. Hide
