Nestled in a private courtyard, this traditional brick-and-flint cottage offers a cosy Norfolk retreat for up to five guests and their two pups. Located in the quaint village of Docking, surrounded by gentle rolling hills and endless skies, it’s ideally located to explore the salt marshes, dunes, wildlife and sandy beaches of the North Norfolk coast. Once you’ve finished exploring for the day, you’ll be delighted to return to this elegant, charming abode for a relaxing night.
Calming hues, splashes of colour and natural light flow through this pretty cottage, which has been fully refurbished to make a true home from home. Arranged around the wood burner, the sumptuous leather sofas are the perfect place to snuggle after an exhilarating walk along the Norfolk coast. The room flows naturally to a bench dining table next to a large window, with a door leading through to the galley-style kitchen. Outside, the enclosed courtyard garden is a fine spot to relax with a glass of wine or fire up the barbeque to dine alfresco in the salty sea air. When it’s time to rest your head, climb upstairs and sink into one of three tranquil bedrooms. Then start your day afresh with a cuppa on the sunny front garden bench. There is also parking for 1 car off road, but also road side parking if available.
You can find all the basic amenities in Docking including a fish and chip shop, small supermarket and a weekly Wednesday market.
