An ideal retreat for walkers, cyclists and nature lovers, this stylishly decorated getaway is ideally situated close to the heart of the thriving rural village of Briston, perfect for exploring North Norfolk.

Entering this pretty cottage, the spacious open-plan lounge/diner makes a lovely space to settle back and unwind in after a fantastic day out. The lounge features a Smart TV and comfortable seating, with a traditional wood burner over by the sociable dining table. A couple of steps lead down into the stylishly arranged kitchen, ideal for rustling up your favourite family dishes. The ground floor also has a useful shower room. Heading up the steep cottage-style stairs, you will find the refreshing main family bathroom and three bright, airy bedrooms: two cheerful doubles and a sweet triple room with bunk beds and an additional single bed. Outside, the fully enclosed garden has a generous lawn with a picnic bench and a BBQ, making a lovely space to sit out and dine alfresco on a beautiful sunny evening.

The picturesque village of Briston has some great places to eat and drink, and is surrounded by glorious countryside perfect for walkers, cyclists and nature lovers. To the north, the quaint Georgian town of Holt is home to the North Norfolk Railway and the lovely Holt Country Park. Fakenham (10 miles) is a friendly and historic market town, famous for its racecourse and the stunning Pensthorpe Natural Park. Foxley Wood, Blickling Hall and Baconsthorpe Castle are all within 8 miles.

We stayed over Christmas and loved every bit of it. The village is lovely and people so friendly. We found everything you could ever need whatever time of year there is everything for children. My grandaughter loved the games cupboard and other toys.
