This stunning Art Deco-style property is just half a mile from quiet Overstrand Beach and 3 miles from popular Cromer. Sleeping five over three beautiful bedrooms, this wonderful property is ideal for families or groups of friends looking to stay in a bit of luxury near the superb North Norfolk coast. Spend summer evenings in the fantastic garden, sitting by the fence overlooking the sea, or curled up in the sheltered seating area on the patio with your favourite book.

The property, which lies just 60 metres from a popular pub, has a charming seaside style. The bright and airy lounge is perfect for throwing open the patio doors to the garden in the summer, but light the wood burner and snuggle up on the sofa and it becomes a cosy haven on chilly evenings. Escape for a moment to the snug that feels like a beach hut, decorated in sandy tones and the blue colours of the sea, or join everyone at the dining table for games after dinner. Take a sumptuous soak in the corner bath in the peaceful bathroom before bed. All three bedrooms have a fabulous coastal style; the super-king-size is the one to nab with huge windows offering spectacular sea views.

Venture out of sleepy Overstrand to Cromer where Amazona Zoo (3 miles) and the amusement arcades on the sea front will keep the kids occupied for hours. In the summer, Wizard Maze (5 miles) is well worth a visit with its 12-acre maize maze and large play area. Take a ride on the Poppy Line with the North Norfolk Railway through beautiful countryside, then go swimming or surfing at Sheringham Beach (both 7 miles). And for the animal lovers among you, visit the friendly horses and ponies at Redwings Horse Sanctuary (12 miles).

  • 3 bedrooms – 1 super-king bed, 1 king, 1 single bed with optional trundle bed (please request on booking)
  • 2 bathrooms – 1 en-suite shower room, 1 bathroom on the first floor with corner bath, monsoon shower and WC, 1 separate ground-floor WC
  • Kitchen with built-in electric oven and hob, dishwasher, microwave, American-style free-standing fridge/freezer and drinks fridge, Delonghi Nespresso Coffee machine (pods not included)

  • Enclosed garden and patio with Weber BBQ, table, chairs and outdoor sofas
  • On-street parking in front of the property, located in a quiet cul-de-sac
  • Beach within 1/2 mile, pub and shop within 1/2 mile

Sea Salt is a very comfortable place to stay with an incredible view of the sea. The kitchen is very well equipped and the house is spacious and homey. The beach is within a very short walking distance. We had a fantastic week at the cottage and the surrounding area had enough to do to interest our teens.

Lovely little village. Short drive/walk in to Cromer (approx 2 miles). Nice walk/run along the coastal path. Be warned though that the path directly behind the property is closed due to subsidence, however we climbed over the barrier during our run. Quite a steep slope leading to and from the waters edge. So access by persons with limited mobility Read morewould definitely be an issue. However, it's a sweet little village with a decent cafe, hotel/restaurant and boozer. There are also a nearby golf club, range and country club which I'm sure would suit some people. Would recommend the Baan Thai restaurant in Cromer, The Suffield Arms I'm near Cromer, and The Recruiting Sargent in Horsted for decent dining experiences. Although The Fox and The Black Boys were also recommended to us but we didn't have time to go. Hide
