Dottys Cottage has a great location in Blakeney village just a few minutes walk to the Quay and local pub, restaurants, shop and coffee shop. The cottage comes with a parking space which is really useful. However, access is tight and larger cars might find it difficult (our 4.8 meter long car was tight but okay). Blakney is a beautiful location with lovely cottages surrounded by buddleia and hollyhocks. It was a shame therefore to be renting the only cottage surrounded by a dying black sludge of plants. Why would you spray herbicide on hollyhocks? It was totally out of keeping with the village. The church has the right idea. All it's grounds are a beautifulRead more wild flower meadow. The house is in a good location just off the main street in a quiet area. It is close to pubs and restaurants. However, the house looks tired inside and out. It needs some redecoration, a thorough clean and replacement/repair of some equipment. Generally the

Had such a lovely stay and fell in love with Blakeney. Comfy furniture, cosy warm cottage, lovely setting and all we needed. Was a bit sad not to be able to have bedding washed in fragrance free detergent (allergies) so had to bring our own but also we checked before coming re the size bedding to bring (double duvet) - but we didnt know/missed the Read morebit where it said it was a king sized mattress so our fitted double sheet didnt fit. We made do with only a bit of itchiness and the odd wheeze but we will know to take a flat not a fitted sheet next time and it didnt spoil the lovely holiday. Would definitely stay again. Hide

Lovely comfortable little cottage. Fabulous location. It was warm, clean and well equipped. The parking at the back was an absolute game changer, although very tight to turn into and out of! Will definitely come back.
