This fantastic pair of barns offers the ultimate space for a big family or friends’ reunion. Sleeping 12 with six bedrooms across the two barns, there’s enough room for everyone to have their own space but still come together in the brilliant social spaces. Spend family evenings in the games barn, challenging each other to table tennis, snooker or darts before grilling up a feast on the BBQ and dining alfresco.
Both barns have wonderful features such as exposed beams, vaulted ceilings and exposed flint and stone walls. Peaceful interiors and a cosy wood burner in each open-plan living space gives everyone the opportunity to unwind after a long day out exploring. While the first barn has a sleek kitchen and a dining area for six, everyone can get together in the second barn where a 14-seat table sits among huge beamed ceilings in a bright and airy space. Watch the kids play football on the lawn or on the swing and slide in the woodland area until the sun goes down. Whichever barn you stay in, all the bedrooms promote a great night’s sleep with calming, neutral decor; most have exposed beams along with a fabulous mix of contemporary and traditional furnishings.
Head off to Cley Beach (3 miles) for exceptional views, or head into Blakeney to Bishop’s Boats Seal Trips (3 miles) to see the seals basking in the sun. Holt Country Park (3 miles) is perfect for a woodland walk, especially on a hot day, or you could go on a steam or diesel train ride on the Poppy Line with North Norfolk Railway (6 miles). Walsingham Abbey and Shirehall Museum (10.5 miles) is great for a bit of history, as is the National Trust’s Felbrigg Hall (11 miles).
